US MAIL – Each apartment has a 5 x 6-1/2 x 16″ locked mailbox located on the pedestals on the West side of Little Drive. As you look at the mailboxes, the 1230 Little (A Building) apartments will be on the left end, the 1227 Little (B Building) will be in the middle and the 1229 Little (C Building) mailboxes will be on the right end. Each mailbox should have a label with your building and apartment number on it (ex: A-116, B-203, C-315). Check your mailbox on a regular basis, as any package that will fit into the mailbox, will be put there by the US Postal Service. Mailboxes that become clogged with junk mail and can no longer hold mail will result in the mail carrier directing ALL your mail to be held at the Post Office on Drake Road until the mailbox is cleared enough to receive mail.

There is an OUTGOING mail slot located in the left end mailbox pedestal for any stamped mail going out. The US Postal Service Carrier will collect any outgoing mail from there and take it to the US Post Office.

The last two mail lockers on the right end are for packages small enough to fit within the locker. If you get a key with a 1, 2, 3 or4 on the tag, that corresponds with one of the 4 US Postal Service package lockers (numbered 1-4). If your key has a 3 on it, go to the #3 package locker and using the key unlock and retrieve your package. The key will be retained in the package locker door (only the US Postal Worker can retrieve the package locker keys from the door). The 4 lockers are for the entire 120 apartment complex, so retrieve your package ASAP so someone else can have their package placed in the locker.

UPS, FedEX, Amazon, DHL – Other package delivery companies have their own guidelines as to how packages are to be delivered. At the very least, they should bring the package into the main (center) entrance to your building to get the item out of the weather. Some carriers will deliver the package directly to your door. If you have a concern with your package being left outside your apartment, you should specify that a signature is required and have the package delivered to the Leasing Office at 1230 Little Dr A-110 (the Leasing Office). We will receive and sign for any packages delivered there during our normal business hours, 9 AM to 6 PM, Mon thru Friday. The Leasing Office is not open on Saturday, Sunday or Holidays.
